We decided back in October that we would go and surprise my family for my Dads 50th this January. The same week my Dad was turning 50, my brother Nick was turning 21 and my brother Richard 18. The birthdays also fell over Martin Luther King weekend. Kevin and I thought it would be appropriate to go and have some quality time with family and the beach. Although the surprise was thwarted 2 weeks before by my attentive 6-year-old sister, we still had a wonderful time. My Nana from Washington state also came to celebrate and it turned out to be a wonderful weekend. It was so nice to get away from the snow, especially since the weekend we picked, the weather was beautiful. It was near 80 degrees the entire time we were there.

Fabulous pictures-Abby is getting quite a personality! Thanks for coming over last night-it sure is fun to hang out...something I think we take for granted. :) Look for jobs in Denver.
